[2022] Northwest Arkansas Air Conditioner Rebates: An Exhaustive List

Last updated: Jan. 21, 2022, 10:08 p.m.

There's a lot of free money out there to help you pay for a new HVAC unit

Regardless of what the HVAC salesman says, replacing an AC unit is never all fun and games. It's a substantial investment and paying for it always stings a little.

Thankfully, if you live in Northwest Arkansas there are quite a few AC and energy rebates out there to help you cover the cost of replacing or installing a new HVAC unit. Sadly, most folks are unaware of them and they go unused, which is unfortunate because they are already paying for them via a surcharge on their utility bill.

So put this list to good use and get every dollar you can!

Note: Many of these rebates end when the available budget for it runs out. Always call your utility to verify a rebate is still active before doing anything (a heads up to us so we can update this page would be much appreciated as well).

American Standard Manufacturer Rebates

Sadly there are no manufacturer rebates of any kind as of January 2022 due to extreme equipment shortages. This applies not only to American Standard/Trane, but to all brands (to the best of our knowledge). Basically they are selling every unit they make and don't need to stimulate demand by offering discounts or rebates.

Other Utility Rebates

In addition to the above, SWEPCO and Black Hills have other rebates for things like energy efficient windows, insulation, and the like. You can find a complete list of them all here.
